About ME
Dr. Nicole Petersen, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C
Dr. Petersen is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), licensed in Washington state. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a focus in family practice after she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Washington State University. She holds board certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has practiced in the field for over 19 years and has clinical experience in a variety of settings including ICU and family practice.
After working in family practice, she recognized a shortage of mental health providers as a barrier to patients receiving treatment. She has experience working with a broad range of mental health disorders, such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety.
She utilizes telehealth to provide mental health treatment to patients in the comfort and privacy of their own home. She has partnered with Mindful Therapy Group to provide easy access to treatment and reduce delays in care.
Outside of clinical practice Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family. She loves traveling, skiing, boating and watching her children participate in extracurricular activities.
